Lyssy Bolton

Lyssy Bolton

Executive Headteacher, TMAT

I am Executive Headteacher of The Mead Academy Trust and am a National Leader of Education, supporting system leadership locally, regionally and nationally. I serve on the Regional School Improvement Partnership Board and the Ofsted Early Years Consultative Forum.

I was very proud when The Mead was designated as one of the very first National Teaching Schools in 2009 (of only 36 primary schools nationally). We work in partnership with CSL (Collaborative Schools Ltd) and wider partnerships to offer peer to peer support, professional development, leadership development and Initial Teacher Education. Research and development are at the heart of our work, and we encourage and expect our practitioners to be research engaged and to draw on evidence-based practice.
