Learning Setts

Research-based ‘Learning Setts’ provide opportunities for teachers and teaching assistants to work collaboratively to explore new pedagogical approaches to learning and investigate aspects of practice needing improvement. These hubs provide a forum for professional dialogue and deep reflection, leading to the implementation and impact evaluation of new ways of working. A programme of regular staff meetings and Inset sessions are allocated to support this activity. Purposeful case studies ensure the transfer of professional learning and practice across and beyond the alliance.
