MiDAS training ensures that your driver skills are of an acceptable level to transport children and adults in a minibus. Inclusive of both a theory and practical element it will make you aware of the legal, practical and safety issues surrounding minibus driving.
If delegates reach the required standard on both the practical assessment drive and pass the theory assessment they will receive a MiDAS certificate.
Drivers must be aged between 21 and 69 have a full driving licence, with minibus driving entitlement (category D1 on your licence) and must have at least two years driving experience.
Prior to the training, a copy of the drivers licence and a licence summary must be provided. The licence summary is generated online at www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence to complete it you will need your NI number, driving licence number and postcode (the licence summary lists any endorsements).
Theory: Friday 8th November 2019, 9.00am – 1.00pm
Driver assessment: Friday 8th Nov 2019 in the afternoon or Monday 11th November 2019
