The second of three half-day workshops supporting SENCOs, Inclusion Leads, and Headteachers to develop practice and professional understanding.

Lynn McCann will discuss how to develop an holistic approach to developing social skills with all children based on Damian Milton’s Double Empathy Theory. This includes helping non SEND children understand and engage with the social interactions of children who might do things differently, as well as helping SEND children engage with things like games, group work and understanding the social world.

Workshop 1 – Betsy de Thierry, SEMH Support for Primary School Children Post COVID
