A number of our Graduate Teachers travelled to the Genting Arena in Birmingham on Wednesday (23rd January 2019), to support over 150 children from across The Mead Academy Trust on their annual Young Voices trip.
For the past 20 years, Young Voices has staged the largest children’s choir concerts in the world. Over 2 million children have taken part in a Young Voices concert and each night, between 5,000 – 8,000 children perform as a single choir to a sold-out audience of family and friends.
We are so pleased that so many of our Graduate Teachers got to take part in such an incredible experience. Mrs Dixon, The Mead’s specialist music teacher, said of the Graduate Teacher team: “Thank you so much for your support at the Young Voices event. I so appreciate you giving up so much of your time to support this event. You were professional, willing and smiley and such an asset to have on this trip. I hope you feel it was all worth it and that you will be inspired to take your own class next year!”
We still have spaces available on our Graduate Teacher programme starting in September 2019. If this looks like a great day out to you, then get in touch to find out more!
