I am the SENCO at St Andrew’s Primary in Laverstock and have been working in Wiltshire since 2009. In addition to my school role I co-ordinate the Salisbury SENCO network which is a forum for peer support and training and am currently working with a member of the area SSENS team on information events for parents.

I started my primary teaching in London and have experience of working as a mainstream link teacher for a specialist ASD unit and also as a secondary learning support teacher. I am passionate about inclusive education and strive to ensure that colleagues are equipped to deliver the very best provision possible for all pupils.

For the past 3 years I have been part of the Wiltshire Leading SENCO project, supporting colleagues in mainstream schools and as an SLE for SEN I am able to offer support for the development of whole school SEN provision and inclusive practice, including support for SENCOs who are new to the role.
